I run home services businesses, and I build the software that runs them. Most people pick one side of that — trade or tech. I stayed on both, because the gap between them is where the real problems are.
Running roofing and landscaping operations meant fighting the same friction every home services operator fights: scattered leads, clunky sales tools, and software built by people who've never actually worked a job site. So I started building my own — first for my own crews, then as tools other owners could use.
That turned into a small portfolio: SV Network to bring in qualified clients, BeeMotion CRM to run the pipeline once they're in the door, and DocMarket so any small business owner can download the operating documents they need — alongside the ongoing work of running roofing and landscaping operations across the DC / Maryland / Virginia area.
Everything I build gets used first — by my own teams, on real jobs, before it ever ships to anyone else.
